Your category D bus licence alongside your job.

With EUROBUS express training, you prepare for the practical bus driving test in a compact format. Driving lessons are arranged individually and, subject to availability, can be completed within two weeks, including the test.

Requirements

Before the practical driver training starts, you need:

  1. Category D learner’s permit

    Apply for the learner’s permit at the road traffic office of your canton of residence.

  2. Category D theory test

    Take and pass the category D theory test.

  3. Medical examination

    Have the required medical examination carried out.

How your express training works

  1. Before the training

    • Apply for the category D learner’s permit
    • Take the category D theory test

  2. During the training

    • Practical driving lessons (58 driving lessons / around 1’500 km)
    • Practical driving test
    • Articulated bus training

  3. After the training

    • Five-day CPC (CZV) initial training
    • CPC (CZV) exam (to be taken separately)

Training and Further Education Centre of EUROBUS welti-furrer AG, Grindelstrasse 8, 8303 Bassersdorf, close to Zurich Airport.

Driving school Ruswil

Bus centre of Rottal Auto AG, Rütmattstrasse 2, 6017 Ruswil, centrally located and with free parking.

Who is the express training for?

For people with a demanding job. You arrange the dates for your driving lessons directly with the driving instructor.

How quickly will I finish?

Provided the schedule works for you and the driving instructors, you complete all driving lessons and the test within two weeks.

Can I pay for the training in instalments?

No. The full course fees must be paid before the training starts.
