Eurobus School bus

Permanent, vetted drivers on the school bus

Familiar faces every school day: on the EUROBUS school bus, the children always travel with the same drivers. They are chosen for empathy, driving skill and an impeccable personal record, because not every good bus driver is right for the school bus.

The children know their driver, and the parents know who is behind the wheel. For your municipality or school, this means no changing staff, but qualified, caring and motivated drivers whom EUROBUS vets, trains and, in the event of absence, replaces from a reserve pool.

The drivers on the school bus are always the same people. At MoPi.ch AG, every route gets a permanent team that knows the children, and a trained substitute for holidays and sickness. So there is no changing staff and no settling-in period in the middle of the school year.

Frequently asked questions

Does my child always travel with the same person?

Yes. The drivers on the school bus are always the same people. If someone is absent, a reserve pool of drivers makes sure there are drivers ready for duty; at MoPi.ch AG, every route also has a trained substitute for holidays and sickness.

How does EUROBUS check who drives schoolchildren?

All employees go through a check of their special criminal record extract and their references. On top of that, high standards apply to personal integrity, driving skill and medical fitness to drive.

How do the drivers take further training?

Regularly. The EUROBUS driving school trains drivers in category D1, the licence category for school buses, and offers CZV refresher courses. At MoPi.ch AG, the group’s in-house ambulance service for north-western Switzerland gives the entire workforce further training in emergency response once a year.
