Training terms and conditions

Booking confirmation/invitation

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 16. Bookings are considered in the order in which they are received.

Course fee

Participation in the course is only possible after payment in advance.

Cancellation and cancellation fee

If you are forced to cancel for a reason such as illness, holidays, clashing appointments, military service etc., the following rules apply:

– Cancellations must be made in writing by email

– Absences are not refunded

Cancellation fee

– up to 14 days before the course starts: 50% of the course fee, thereafter 100%.

Rebooking

– up to 14 days before the course starts: free of charge

– up to 5 days before the course starts: CHF 20

– up to 2 days before the course starts: CHF 50

– Various insurers offer cancellation cost insurance, e.g. ERV / Helvetia.

Course cancellation by EUROBUS

If the course cannot take place due to force majeure (including illness/accident of the course instructor) or because too few people have registered, no claims can be made against EUROBUS.

Exclusion of liability/insurance

Any liability for damage is excluded for all courses organised by EUROBUS. Participants are responsible for adequate insurance cover themselves. EUROBUS cannot be held liable for theft or loss of items.

The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.

Participation in the course is only possible after payment in advance. Payment of the full course fee must reach us no later than 2 weeks before the training starts.

Cancellation

If you are forced to cancel for a reason such as illness, holidays, clashing appointments, military service etc., the following rules apply:

– Cancellations must be made in writing by email

Cancellation fee

– up to 7 days before the training starts: CHF 2,500

– thereafter: CHF 5,000

If you postpone the training to a later date, the amount will be credited.

Various insurers offer cancellation cost insurance, e.g. ERV, Helvetia.

Course termination

If the course has to be terminated by the course management because of safety concerns regarding the participant, we refund a maximum of 25% of the course fee.

Course cancellation by EUROBUS

Scope

These terms apply to all driving lessons offered by the EUROBUS driving school. By registering for or booking a driving lesson, the learner driver accepts these terms.

Registration and payment

– Driving lessons and test dates are offered in the form of a quotation.

– The quotation is deemed accepted when it is confirmed in writing (by email).

– Payment must be made in advance.

Cancelling a driving lesson

If you are forced to cancel for a reason such as illness, holidays, appointments etc., the following rules apply:

– Cancellations must be made in writing by email

– The test date can be cancelled or postponed free of charge up to 15 days in advance.

Individual driving lessons can be cancelled or postponed up to 3 days before the appointment for a fee of 25% of the agreed fee.

For cancellations less than 3 days before the appointment or failure to attend, the full fee will be charged.

Course termination

If the course has to be terminated by the course management because of safety concerns regarding the participant, we refund a maximum of 25% of the course fee.

Cancellation by EUROBUS

The driving school reserves the right to cancel driving lessons at short notice in the event of unforeseeable events (e.g. illness of the driving instructor, technical problems). Fees already paid for cancelled lessons will be credited or, on request, refunded.

Mandate agreement

– Representation at the road traffic office: the driving school handles communication, data transfer and scheduling with the road traffic office on behalf of the learner driver.

– Data handling: the learner driver’s personal data is used exclusively for organising the course, scheduling and communication. The data is treated confidentially and not passed on to third parties unless this is required to carry out the mandate.

Exclusion of liability/insurance

– The driving school accepts no liability for damage caused by the learner driver’s conduct.

– During driving lessons the vehicle is insured by the driving school. Personal insurance cover for the learner driver is their own responsibility.
