Prices & discounts: how to travel for less

Book early, share a double room as a party of three, travel as a group: with EUROBUS, you pay less. Here you can see at a glance how to save with the early booking price, discounts and loyalty vouchers, and what is included in the price.

All EUROBUS prices are cash prices and include statutory VAT; for flights, they also include airport and security taxes. You pay any local taxes on site. Subject to change. Supplementary provisions are set out in the terms and conditions.

Early booking price: book early and save

If you book early, you benefit from the early booking price: it is roughly 10% below the catalogue price, although the amount may vary. As a rule, EUROBUS guarantees half of the seats on each coach at the early booking price. As a member of the VIP Travel Club, you always book at the early booking price.

Discounts for a third person in a double room and for groups

3rd person in a double room
10% discount on the entire package, except where prices for the 3rd person are shown separately.
Group discount
on multi-day coach tours, EUROBUS grants a 3% discount to groups of 6 or more people who book and pay at the same time.

Loyalty vouchers: make your next trip cheaper with every booking

With every booking with EUROBUS and Car Rouge, you receive a personal loyalty voucher. You will find the voucher code on the booking confirmation for your trip. You can redeem it once, for a subsequent multi-day trip: enter it in the designated field when booking online, or quote it when booking by phone.

  • You can collect several loyalty vouchers and redeem them at the same time.
  • The voucher is personal and non-transferable.
  • It cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with other discounts or benefits.
  • EUROBUS does not issue loyalty vouchers for day excursions, travel-only and hotel-only offers, flight services, discounted trips and last-minute trips. Loyalty vouchers also cannot be redeemed for day excursions, travel-only and hotel-only offers, discounted trips and last-minute trips.

Redeeming voucher codes

Tell our sales staff the voucher code by phone, or enter it in the “Voucher code” field at the end of your online booking. If you would like to give the joy of travelling as a gift, you will find everything you need under Travel voucher.

Paying by credit card, TWINT or Reka cheques

TWINT
you can pay free of charge with the TWINT payment app.
Credit card
when booking by phone or online, you can pay with Mastercard, Visa or PostFinance. A 1% surcharge applies when you pay by credit card; the credit card companies charge this surcharge to EUROBUS itself.
Reka cheques
you can pay a maximum of 50% of the basic package price with Reka cheques, but no more than CHF 500 per person and booking. Day excursions are excluded. Admission tickets do not count towards the basic package price.

Booking fee

The booking fee for advice and sales is CHF 25 per person. For Christmas markets and day excursions, it is CHF 15 to 20. It does not apply to members of the VIP Travel Club.

Reserve your seat: supplements for seat rows 1 to 4

Seats on the coach are allocated in the order in which bookings are received. If you would like to sit further forward, you can reserve seat rows 1 to 4 for a supplement (prices per person per day):

Frequently asked questions

What is the booking fee at EUROBUS?

The booking fee is CHF 25 per person, and CHF 15 to 20 for Christmas markets and day excursions. Members of the VIP Travel Club pay no booking fee.

Can I pay for a trip with Reka cheques?

Yes. With Reka cheques, you can pay a maximum of 50% of the basic package price, but no more than CHF 500 per person and booking. Day excursions are excluded.

How much does a seat in the first row cost?

For a reserved seat in the first row, you pay CHF 9 per person per day; in the second row CHF 7, in the third row CHF 5 and in the fourth row CHF 4. For members of the VIP Travel Club, these rows are free of charge, provided seats are still available.

Is there a discount for groups?

Yes. On multi-day coach tours, groups of 6 or more people who book and pay at the same time receive a 3% discount.

Will my trip go ahead even if there are only a few bookings?

EUROBUS guarantees that the published travel dates will go ahead. If there are fewer than 10 participants, EUROBUS reserves the right to cancel a trip for ecological and economic reasons.
