Where do I board, where do I park, how do I reserve my preferred seat? Here you will find the answers to the most frequently asked questions: from boarding points and parking to seats, prices and insurance, right through to luggage and refreshments on board. Is your question not here? Our travel advisers will be happy to help you in person: 0848 000 212, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00.
You have a choice: your coach tour starts at the Windisch travel centre (Schwimmbadstrasse 1), at the Zurich terminal (Pfingstweidstrasse 3) or at the Central Switzerland terminal in Ruswil, which is not served on every trip. Other boarding points, mostly close to railway stations, are Aarau, Arbon, Basel, Bern, Biel/Bienne, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Winterthur (Wiesendangen). You receive the directions to your boarding point automatically with your booking confirmation. Addresses and directions are on the “Outward & return journey” page.

Yes. When booking by phone, you state your seat preference; if the seat is free, it is confirmed. When booking online, you see the seating plan and book your preferred seat directly. For catalogue trips, you receive the seat number with the confirmation, except for beach holidays, Christmas trips and Tyrol Winter. A supplement applies for seat rows 1 to 4.
Per person per day, you pay CHF 9 in row 1, CHF 7 in row 2, CHF 5 in row 3 and CHF 4 in row 4. Seats are allocated in the order in which bookings are received; you can reserve seat rows 1 to 4 for this supplement. For members of the VIP Travel Club, these rows are free of charge, provided they are still available.
You can pay free of charge with the TWINT payment app. When booking by phone and when booking online, you can also pay with Mastercard, Visa or PostFinance; a 1% surcharge applies when paying by credit card. With Reka cheques, you can pay a maximum of 50% of the basic package price, but no more than CHF 500 per person and booking; day excursions are excluded.
In line with the recommendation of the Swiss Travel Association, the booking office may charge a booking fee for advice and sales. At EUROBUS, it is CHF 25 per person, and CHF 15 to 20 for Christmas markets and day excursions. It does not apply to members of the VIP Travel Club.
With every booking, you receive a voucher for your next trip: with every booking with EUROBUS and Car Rouge, you receive a personal loyalty voucher; you will find the code on the booking confirmation. You can redeem it once for a subsequent multi-day trip, online in the field for the voucher code or when booking by phone. Loyalty vouchers are neither issued nor redeemed for day excursions, travel-only and hotel-only offers, discounted trips and last-minute trips.
The VIP Travel Club is the bonus programme of EUROBUS and Car Rouge. For CHF 120 per person per year, or CHF 60 the following year if you renew directly, members always book at the early booking price, reserve seat rows 1 to 4 free of charge if they are still available, park free of charge in Windisch and Ruswil and pay no booking fee.
