Vineyards & Half-timbered Houses
The "Heart of Alsace" enjoys a magnificent location and offers varied landscapes of vineyards, forests, and typical villages and towns. Stroll through villages of incomparable charm, such as Kaysersberg or Eguisheim, which with its Renaissance half-timbered houses ranks among the "most beautiful wine villages in Alsace".
Your journey through Alsace begins in Colmar with a 35-minute sightseeing tour by mini train. You will get to know the town centre and the well-known “Petit Venice” district. Afterwards, free time.
For lunch in Kaysersberg, a traditional Alsatian menu is served, and we recommend an Alsatian Pinot Noir or a Riesling to accompany it.
In the afternoon, you have time to visit Dr Albert Schweitzer’s birthplace or stroll through the charming little town.
The route continues along the Alsace Wine Route, past places such as Niedermorschwihr and Turckheim, to Eguisheim. A walk through one of the most beautiful flower-decked wine villages will leave you utterly enchanted.
