Imperial days in Tyrol: Innsbruck, Salzburg & Kitzbühel
First things first: the elegant 4-star Hotel Sonnschein in Niederau is reserved exclusively for EUROBUS guests, so you can enjoy Tyrolean hospitality all to yourself. Charming old towns, picturesque landscapes and living traditions await you on this autumn journey through Tyrol's most beautiful sides.
Day 1: Switzerland - Innsbruck
On the way there, you will immerse yourself in the Alpine city of Innsbruck. The Golden Roof, the cathedral, the Maria-Theresien-Strasse and the Triumphal Arch invite you to a varied old town walk. Afterwards there is time for your own discoveries in the Tyrolean capital. Onward journey to your hotel, where you will be warmly welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Salzburg
A guided city walk takes you through the baroque old town with its winding lanes, splendid squares and imposing cathedral. In the afternoon, you have free time: stroll along the famous Getreidegasse, enjoy coffee and Salzburger Nockerl in a historic café, or take the Festungsbahn funicular up to Hohensalzburg Fortress. Return to the hotel and dinner together.
Day 3: Müllnerhof & Kitzbühel
Today brings a very special highlight: a horse-drawn carriage ride through the idyllic countryside around the Wilder Kaiser, past picturesque alpine pastures and through charming Tyrolean villages. Afterwards, you visit the historic Müllnerhof – a farmhouse built in 1706 with a converted 16th-century threshing barn and more than 40 bells. Explore the schnapps distillery, bread oven and smokehouse, and taste homemade bacon, cheese and schnapps. Onward to Kitzbühel, the town of the rich and beautiful. The day ends with an atmospheric musical evening at your hotel.
Day 4: Niederau - Switzerland
After breakfast, return journey to Switzerland.
The 4* Hotel Sonnschein (official national category) in Niederau impresses with genuine Tyrolean hospitality and unforgettable charm. With its generous wellness area – sauna, steam bath, laconium, brine cabin and two indoor pools – and the hotel's own restaurant serving fresh, regional Tyrolean specialities, it is the ideal retreat after eventful days. The comfortable rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, TV and Wi-Fi.
The entire hotel, with 150 rooms, is reserved exclusively for EUROBUS guests. Equivalent hotel if unavailable.
