Rigoletto & Bamberger Symphoniker
You can look forward to a varied opera and concert trip to beautiful Franconia. Bamberg delights with its historic old town, Würzburg with its magnificent Residence and Nuremberg with its vibrant culture. The musical highlights are Verdi's «Rigoletto» at the Staatstheater Nürnberg and a concert by the world-famous Bamberger Symphoniker in their home city.
Day 1: Switzerland - Bamberg
Travel to Bamberg in the comfortable Car Rouge coach. After checking in to your room, enjoy a dinner together in the stylish setting of the Residenzschloss.
Day 2: Bamberg & Nuremberg opera
The morning is yours to explore Bamberg at your leisure. In the afternoon, we travel to Nuremberg. After an opera aperitif, you will attend Verdi’s masterpiece ‘Rigoletto’ at the Staatstheater Nürnberg. Afterwards, we return to Bamberg.
Day 3: Excursion to Würzburg
Today you discover Würzburg, the charming residence city on the River Main. On a guided tour, you visit the magnificent Würzburg Residence with its impressive rooms. Afterwards, there is time for a leisurely stroll through the old town before you return to Bamberg.
Day 4: Bamberg & concert
On a guided city tour, you discover Bamberg’s historic old town with its winding lanes and significant buildings. The afternoon is free for your own plans. In the evening, the concert by the renowned Bamberger Symphoniker awaits you, a musical highlight of the tour.
Day 5: Bamberg - Switzerland
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to Bamberg. Carrying many lovely memories, you begin the journey back to Switzerland.
You stay at the elegant 4* Welcome Hotel Residenzschloss Bamberg, in a quiet location close to the old town.
