Three days, three races, pure World Championship fever
Three days, three races, a truly grand skiing spectacle: at the Alpine World Ski Championships in Crans-Montana, you will witness the men's Super-G and the women's and men's downhill races live. Cheer alongside us from the standing terraces as the world's best fight for hundredths of a second and medals. In between, soak up the atmosphere in the World Championship village and the magnificent Valais mountain backdrop. For true ski fans, being there is what counts!
Day 1: Kick-off to your World Championship weekend
Early in the morning you travel to Crans-Montana, arriving at around 09.00. The moment you first catch sight of the course, the excitement builds: today the world's best speed skiers compete in the men's Super-G for World Championship medals. Feel the fans' enthusiasm from the standing grandstand as every hundredth of a second counts! The start time is still to be announced. After the race, you travel to your hotel and let the first World Championship day wind down.
Day 2: The fastest women in the world
After breakfast, the coach takes you back to Crans-Montana. You arrive at around 09.00. Today the piste belongs to the world's best downhill skiers: courage, speed and razor-sharp lines decide gold, silver and bronze. Cheer along as the racers cross the finish line, and enjoy the special atmosphere of a World Championship race day. In the late afternoon, you travel back to your hotel.
Day 3: The blue riband event. The grand showdown
After breakfast, you head to Crans-Montana one last time and arrive at around 09.00. Today there is no tactical play, only speed: the world's best downhill skiers hurl themselves onto the course and fight for World Championship gold in the blue riband event. As the athletes race down the piste at full speed and the crowd wills them on at every split time, goosebumps are guaranteed. After this unforgettable race weekend, you begin the journey home to your departure points.
During the race weekend you stay in a hotel in the Valais, roughly 30 to 60 minutes' drive from Crans-Montana. Depending on group size and the number of coaches, we use several hotels. You will learn which hotel you are staying at, including the address, in the detailed programme about three weeks before the trip.
The Comfort coach offers you everything that matters to you as a traveller. The generous legroom in particular will surprise you. Our Comfort coaches have 26 – 50 seats.
