Day 1: Switzerland - Bad Wimpfen

Travel via Stuttgart to the historic Staufer town of Bad Wimpfen. Arrival around 13:00. Winding lanes lined with many Gothic and Renaissance houses give Bad Wimpfen its idyllic character. The medieval half-timbered town, decorated with many lights and fir greenery, will enchant you. The Blue Tower, the Red Tower, the town skyline and several half-timbered houses in the market area glow with countless strings of fairy lights.

Day 2: Odenwald excursion

(Optional excursion) Drive through the picturesque Odenwald to Michelstadt. In the historic old town with its countless half-timbered buildings, traders offer their goods from festively decorated wooden huts. In the courtyard of the historic cellar you will come across a life-size nativity scene and the Christmas pyramid. Life-size nutcracker figures are market symbols and also help you find your way around the extensive market area. The market's wide range includes products from Odenwald farmers, who offer specialities from their farms.

Day 3: Esslingen - Switzerland

Drive to Esslingen for the medieval market. Jugglers, town criers and fire-eaters bring to life the customs and trades of this era against an impressive backdrop. Alongside, you will find further Christmas markets in traditional style on Rathausplatz and Hafenmarkt. Return journey to Switzerland.
