Where the Christkind makes its home...

During Advent, Nuremberg's Hauptmarkt is transformed into a sea of red and white decorated wooden stalls. Well over two hundred traders present traditional wares such as the famous Nuremberg Rauschgoldengel (tinsel angels) or handmade Zwetschgenmännle, made from dried plums.

Day 1: Switzerland - Nuremberg

Direct journey to Nuremberg. Arrival approx. 14:45. Visit the Christmas market in the heart of the city centre. The around 200 stallholders decorate their stalls with great attention to detail, as since 1981 the city has been awarding the most beautiful

stalls the "Zwetschgermoh" in gold, silver and bronze.

Day 2: Nuremberg

Make the most of the day to do your Christmas shopping. The city centre, with 500 shops set against a historic backdrop, offers a unique shopping atmosphere.
