Day 1: Switzerland - Würzburg
Coach journey to Würzburg. Arrival at around 15:00. How about a stroll through the old town and on to the "Palace of Palaces", the prince-bishops' residence, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? Würzburg is renowned for a particularly atmospheric Christmas market. Stalls and kiosks crowd in front of the historic backdrop of the Marienkapelle and the Falkenhaus.
Day 2: Excursion to Rothenburg
(Optional excursion) Rothenburg, with its towers and mighty town walls, transforms into a romantic winter fairytale every year at Advent. You step into a world that transports you back to long-gone times. Discover the enchanting medieval old town with its many winding lanes and little squares surrounded by half-timbered houses. The Reiterlesmarkt is one of the most charming Christmas markets in the country, with centuries-old tradition. Drawn from Germanic legend, the "Reiterle" – much like Father Christmas – is a lucky figure whose visit delights everyone. Alternatively, spend your day in Würzburg as you wish.
Day 3: Würzburg - Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland at 12:45.

The particularly atmospheric Christmas market of Würzburg takes place in front of the historic backdrop of the Marienkapelle and the Falkenhaus. Opening hours: Mon - Sat: 10:00 - 20:30 Sun: 11:00 - 20:30
