Spend spectacular days on the sun-kissed Côte d’Azur and experience the world-famous Monte Carlo Circus Festival. Performers from around the world compete for the coveted "Golden Clowns", presented by Princess Stéphanie of Monaco or Prince Albert II. Marvel at the "World Championship of Circus Arts".
Day 1: Switzerland - Nice
Travel via the Gotthard route with lunch in Bissone. In the evening you reach the Côte d’Azur metropolis and your dream hotel on the Promenade des Anglais.
(4 nights at Hotel Le Negresco*****).
Day 2: Nice - Circus Festival
In the morning, city tour with your guide. Nice is as colourful as a rainbow: blue bay, red rooftops, ochre houses and green gardens. The Mediterranean light makes the colours glow more intensely than anywhere else. Over dinner in Monaco, you will fortify yourself for the thrilling opening of the 49th Monte Carlo Circus Festival. Circus visit at 20.00 h. The show begins with a 30-minute interval.
2nd trip: Visit the "Show des Vainqueurs" featuring award-winning acts only.
Day 3: Nice - Circus Festival or excursion to Grasse
Enjoy Nice’s markets in the morning or stroll along the world-famous Promenade des Anglais. (Optional) In the afternoon the excitement builds: curtain up for the 2nd show with different artistes.
2nd trip: Drive to Grasse and guided walking tour. The town is world-renowned for its perfume industry. Visit to the Fragonard perfumery. Irresistible scents await you. In a workshop you have the unique opportunity to create your own eau de toilette.
Day 4: Cannes
Free time in Nice or an optional excursion to Cannes. The city is far more than just a glamorous backdrop for the annual film festival. You will, of course, stroll along the "Croisette", an ideal spot to saunter, gaze at the sea and soak up the atmosphere. A wander through the historic old town, a visit to the Forville market hall and the obligatory photo on the red carpet in front of the Palais des Festivals are part of your day in Cannes, alongside some free time. On the return journey to the hotel, enjoy a wine tasting at the Château de Bellet.
Day 5: Nice - Switzerland
Return journey along the Riviera.

5* hotels in the world. The legendary Hotel Le Negresco***** on the Promenade des Anglais in the heart of Nice. The hotel is one of the founding members of Leading Hotels of the World and reflects the splendour of the Belle Époque. The cream of the rich and famous have stayed here.
