Day 1: Switzerland - Savona
Journey to Genoa. At 18.00 h it's time to "cast off" and the ship sets sail.
Only with Costa does Monte Carlo appear as a glittering skyline above the sea: the ship anchors in the bay from 23.30 - 00.30 h and a glamorous evening begins on board. In the sparkling lights of the gulf, music, elegance and international flair ignite an exclusive party, a tribute to the sophisticated Mediterranean way of life.
Day 2: Marseille
To get a comprehensive look at the beauty of Marseille's old town, we recommend a stroll along the Rue du Panier, which lies not far from the eastern side of the Vieux Port. Equally beautiful is the "Vieux Port", meaning the Old Port of Marseille. (Arrival 08.30 h / Departure 18.30 h)
Day 3: Barcelona
Enjoy an exciting day in Barcelona. A highlight of the city is the monumental Sagrada Família church, located in the l'Eixample district. Construction of the church has been ongoing for 140 years. Another "must see" is Park Güell, the most famous city park. It is adorned with thousands of mosaic tiles (Arrival 08.00 h / Departure 18.00 h).
23.30 h - 00.30 h. It is night and the ship reaches the darkest point of the Balearic Sea, one of the few places in the entire Mediterranean where the sky still appears completely clear: no artificial light, no visible coastlines, just sea and stars. All lights on board are switched off. No reflections. No sounds. Only the sky, the leading performer. With the captain's introduction and the Stellarium app, you can navigate between constellations, planets and galaxies. An experience possible only at this one point in the sea.
Day 4: Formentera Bay & Ibiza
Only with Costa can you experience the sea from the first rays of sunshine of the day. Off Formentera the ship slows down between 06.30 - 07.30 h and stops in the crystal-clear water in front of the island. Everything is still calm, the sea is smooth, the air fresh and the sky beginning to lighten. It is a different kind of awakening, far from the noise, where time seems to stand still and you can recharge your batteries. On board, the experience begins in a natural and invigorating way, with a welcome coffee and fresh fruit.
The island of Ibiza, Eivissa to the Catalans, is an excellent destination for those who wish to escape everyday life and be pampered by the crystal-clear waters of the Balearics. (Arrival 12.30 h / Departure 20.00 h)
Day 5: At sea
Take a break and relax at the Solemio Beauty Spa, or enjoy an Aperol Spritz on Deck 16 with wonderful sea views. Every evening in the theatre, spectacular shows await you: musicals, comedy shows, acrobats, games and much more.
Day 6: Palermo
Palermo is the capital of Sicily, known for its fascinating blend of Arab, Norman and Baroque influences, reflected in magnificent churches, palaces and historic markets. (Arrival 08.00 h / Departure 16.30 h)
Day 7: Civitavecchia / Rome
From the old port of Civitavecchia you reach the heart of Roman and Etruscan civilisation. The historic centre is also a valuable medieval village (Arrival 08.30 h / Departure 19.00 h).
Day 8: Savona - Switzerland
At 08.30 h you arrive back in Savona. Return journey to Switzerland.

At the ports on your cruise, Costa Toscana offers shore excursions organised by Costa. These excursions are chargeable and must be booked directly with Costa or, where possible, on board the Costa Toscana.
