Day 1: Switzerland - Portoferraio

Drive to Piombino, where you cross to the island of Elba by ferry. During the crossing you will enjoy magnificent views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. On arrival in the lively harbour of Portoferraio, continue to your hotel.

Day 2: Island tour of Elba

Island tour along the wild and romantic west coast of Elba. You will discover small coastal towns, impressive panoramic routes and breathtaking views of the sea. Along the way, picturesque bays and charming villages invite you to linger.

Day 3: Portoferraio - Capoliveri

Portoferraio welcomes you with an exciting mix of history and Mediterranean flair. Together with your tour guide, you will explore the old town. In the afternoon, travel to the charming hilltop village of Capoliveri with its narrow lanes and superb views over the coast. After a short walk, a wine tasting with regional wines and a light snack awaits you.

Day 4: Porto Azzurro

(Optional) Visit the lively harbour town of Porto Azzurro, with time to stroll along the promenade. Afterwards, take a boat trip along the coast and discover Elba from the water.

Day 5: Free time at the hotel

Today is yours to enjoy freely. Make use of your hotel's amenities, with its spacious gardens and pool, or take a stroll along the coast.

Day 6: Portoferraio - Switzerland

You leave Elba by ferry and return to the mainland at Piombino. From there, begin your journey back to Switzerland, passing through the varied landscapes of Tuscany and northern Italy.

The 4* Hotel Montecristo (official national rating) is located directly on the beach at Campo nell'Elba. Look forward to an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and a small wellness area.
