Day 1: Switzerland – Rhine-Ruhr Region
Today your journey begins towards a duel that is already building tension in advance. You travel in our comfortable coach to the Rhine-Ruhr region and check into your hotel room. The evening is yours to enjoy. While the two national teams look forward to their final preparations, the excitement is rising for you too: who will set the first mark of this World Championship tomorrow?
Day 2: Hockey fever at Schalke
Today the air is electric: over 60,000 fans, two ice hockey nations and a duel that both fan camps are eagerly awaiting. Germany face Switzerland in a prestigious neighbourly classic that offers everything for a gripping hockey thriller: pace, emotion and tension right up to the final siren!
Day 3: An experience that stays with you
After breakfast, you begin the journey home to Switzerland. Sit back and relax as you relive the most gripping game moments, the overwhelming atmosphere and the most emotional moments of this extraordinary World Championship opening.
You will stay in a comfortable mid-range hotel in the Rhine-Ruhr region. We expect several hundred hockey fans to travel with us to this opening game, so a variety of hotels are available for our guests. We will send you the name and address of your hotel around three weeks before departure, together with the travel programme. The transfers between the hotel and the VELTINS-Arena and back are organised and included in the travel price.
