Day 3: Belfast - Letterkenny

Day 4: Donegal

Excursion along the famous Knockalla Coast Road into the rugged beauty of the Fanad Head Peninsula, to the magnificent Ballymastocker Beach, which The Observer newspaper counts among the most beautiful beaches in the world. Fanad Lighthouse is the favourite subject of all photographers. You travel past lakes, vast bogland, gorse and green mountains to Donegal's greatest attraction, Glenveagh National Park with its neo-Gothic castle.

Day 5: Slieve League – Westport

The cliffs of Slieve League, at 600 metres among the highest in Europe, offer unique views over the wild Atlantic. From here your journey continues to Mullaghmore. On a relaxed beach stroll, you enjoy the wind and the waves. In the evening you reach your hotel in the Westport area.

Day 6: Achill Island - Galway

Excursion to Achill Island, Ireland's largest island. It is 22 km long and 19 km wide and can only be reached via a bridge. Achill offers moorland, mountains, steep cliffs and wide beaches. The sea and lakes, picturesque coastlines and peat bogs, dark rivers and green forests shape the heathland landscape of Connemara.

Day 7: Burren - Cliffs of Moher

You cross the primeval moonscape of the karst region of the Burren. Stop at the "Cliffs of Moher", which rise up to 200 m sheer out of the sea along a length of almost 8 km. Onward to Kilrush. You cross the Shannon estuary by ferry before reaching Killarney towards evening.

Day 8: Ring of Dingle
