Day 1: Switzerland - Hanover

Journey via Basel and Frankfurt to Hanover.

The last boarding point in Switzerland is Basel, Meret Oppenheim-Strasse, at 09:10.

Day 2: Bremerhaven

Sightseeing in maritime Bremerhaven. Where emigrants once set off for the unknown America, German cars are now loaded today.

Day 3: Norderney island

Excursion to Norderney, the "Queen of the East Frisian Islands". The white house façades still exude the charm of the Gründerzeit (founding era), and wide beaches and magnificent dune landscapes tempt you all around.

Day 4: Neuwerk island

(Optional) Just 30 inhabitants, a school with two children and three square kilometres of land: Neuwerk is a village in the Wadden Sea. The viewing platform of the lighthouse offers a wide view across the island.

Day 5: Heligoland, the offshore island

In the middle of the North Sea lies Heligoland, Germany's only offshore island. The white sand of the bathing dune, the blue-green sea all around and the unspoilt nature with its rare seabirds attract visitors. Onward journey by ship to Büsum.

Day 6: Sylt island

By train to the island of Sylt, which has a reputation as a "jet-set" paradise. You discover the many facets of Sylt: the glamorous Westerland and unspoilt dune landscapes.

Day 7: Amrum island

(Optional) Walk to the viewing dune with views as far as the Halligen. Passing the picturesque Wriakhörnsee lake nestled in the dunes, you reach the lighthouse and the oldest island village, Steenodde.

Day 8: Eiderstedt - Celle

Fascinating dune landscapes and stilt houses – this is how St. Peter-Ording presents itself on the Eiderstedt peninsula. Via Hamburg you travel right into the Lüneburg Heath.

Day 9: Celle - Switzerland

Return journey from Celle to Switzerland.
