Day 1: Switzerland – Tyrol

Travel to Kirchberg in Tyrol and check in at your base hotel. Over a shared dinner, you get into the mood for relaxed days in the saddle.

Day 2: Achensee & Gramai Alm

A short coach ride to Maurach, then you circle Tyrol's largest lake along crystal-clear water, framed by the Karwendel and Rofan mountains. From Pertisau, a steadily climbing road leads into the unspoilt Gramai valley. With electric assistance, you tackle the climb to Gramai Alm with ease and are rewarded at the top with magnificent views and a cosy stop for refreshments. (38 km)

Day 3: Tegernsee & Schliersee

Between two of the most beautiful lakes in Upper Bavaria, you ride through gentle hills, charming villages and wide pre-Alpine landscapes. On quiet cycle paths, flat stretches alternate with gentle gradients, and views of the water and Alpine backdrop open up again and again. A stroll along the shore of Lake Schliersee rounds off the stage. (45 km)

Day 4: Chiemsee

Today you circle the "Bavarian Sea" on mostly flat paths close to the shore. You pass charming places such as Prien, Gstadt and Seebruck, and enjoy plenty of opportunities for a break in cafés and beer gardens. The view repeatedly drifts to the famous islands with Herrenchiemsee Palace and the convent on Fraueninsel. (52 km)

Day 5: Zell am See

In one of the most appealing lake landscapes of the Salzburg State, you roll from Stuhlfelden along quiet lakeside paths around Lake Zell. The majestic peaks of the High Tauern are mirrored in the water, and hilly sections are comfortably managed on the e-bike. Green meadows, traditional villages and wide vistas make this tour a highlight of the trip. (65 km)

Day 6: Tyrol – Switzerland

After breakfast, you begin the journey home to Switzerland.

You stay at the 4* Alpen Glück Hotel Unterm Rain (official regional category) in the centre of Kirchberg, not far from Kitzbühel. The fully renovated house offers a cosy lounge bar, a terrace and free Wi-Fi. The modern rooms in alpine style are equipped with a bathroom, TV, desk and safe. For cyclists, a bike garage and a workshop are available. Half board is served at the partner hotel Kirchberger Hof, a few minutes' walk away. An equivalent hotel is used if the original is unavailable.
