Day 1: Switzerland - Genoa
Journey to Genoa. At 18.00h the call comes:
"Cast off!" and the ship sets sail.
Day 2: Civitavecchia/Rome
From the old port of Civitavecchia, you reach the heart of Roman and Etruscan civilisation.

Day 3: Messina
Messina, located at the north-eastern tip of Sicily, is considered the ‘gateway to the island’ and impresses with a rich history.

Day 4: Valletta
Valletta, the capital of Malta, impresses with its baroque architecture, imposing fortifications and a fascinating history as the city of the Knights of St John. (Arrival 09.00 h/ Departure 17.00 h)
Day 5: At sea
Take some time out and relax in the MSC Aurea Spa, or enjoy an Aperol Spritz on the outdoor deck with a magnificent view of the sea. Every evening, spectacular shows await you in the theatre: musicals, comedy, acrobats, games and much more.
Day 6: Barcelona
A highlight of Barcelona is the monumental Sagrada Família church, located in the l'Eixample district. Another ‘must see’ is Park Güell, the city's most famous park, adorned with thousands of mosaic tiles.

Day 7: Marseille
To get a comprehensive insight into the beauty of Marseille's old town, we recommend a detour to Rue du Panier, located not far from the eastern side of the Vieux Port.

Return to Switzerland.

At the ports of your cruise, shore excursions organised by MSC World Asia are offered. These excursions are chargeable, and booking must be made directly with MSC or, where possible, on board the MSC World Asia.
