Day 1: Switzerland - Cologne
Departure from Switzerland in the morning. After a relaxed coach journey, you reach the Rhine metropolis of Cologne in the late afternoon. Your elegant 4-star hotel welcomes you with tastefully furnished rooms and a lovely wellness and pool area. The famous Cologne Cathedral is only a short walk away. Use the evening to stroll along the Rhine bank or explore the medieval lanes around the Cathedral. Dinner is served in the hotel's own restaurant.
Day 2: Cologne
Today includes a guided walking tour of the Old Town, where you will learn about the history of this fascinating city. The rest of the day is yours: wander through the picturesque Old Town with its narrow lanes and traditional taverns, or visit the famous Chocolate Museum. From 19:30 the highlight of the weekend begins: the musical "Phantom of the Opera" at the Musical Dome Köln. Immerse yourself in the dark, romantic world beneath the Paris Opera, in the story of an immortal love full of passion and obsession. Andrew Lloyd Webber's music, including "The Music of the Night", the iconic title song, will captivate you.
Day 3: Cologne - Switzerland
After a relaxed breakfast and last views of the majestic Cathedral, your return journey begins. With unforgettable memories, you will return to your pick-up points in Switzerland.
You stay at the modern 4* Maritim Hotel Köln (official national category). The hotel welcomes you directly on the Rhine bank in elegant, tastefully furnished rooms. Cologne Cathedral is within walking distance, and the main station is less than 1 km away. A large, glass-roofed hotel lobby with exclusive boutiques and fine restaurants invites you to linger. The wellness area offers an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, solarium and fitness room, the perfect place to unwind after an eventful day. All rooms come with bathroom/shower, TV, telephone and safe. Equivalent hotel if unavailable.
