Day 1: Switzerland – Bergamo
Travel via Milan to Bergamo. Arrival early afternoon and free time at your leisure. Bergamo, the picturesque city in northern Italy, delights with its historic charm and cultural richness. Dinner together in a carefully selected restaurant.
Day 2: Bergamo & Opera
In the morning you explore this enchanting city and follow in the footsteps of Gaetano Donizetti. A visit to the Donizetti Museum is on the programme. Spend the afternoon browsing the charming lanes of the city at your leisure. Before the performance in the evening, an exquisite opera aperitif with delicate culinary creations from kitchen and cellar awaits you.
Day 3: Excursion to Brescia & Opera
Today you take an excursion to the second cultural capital, Brescia, to visit the famous Loggia and the cathedral. After a guided tour you enjoy a delicious lunch before returning to Bergamo. Before the opera, an aperitif awaits you, helping you tune in to the musical experience ahead.
Day 4: Bergamo – Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland. Take the wonderful memories of your cultural journey home with you.
You stay in the centre at the 4* Hotel Cappello d'Oro. The hotel lies in the heart of Bergamo, not far from the funicular that climbs up to the old town. The beautiful, historic building has only recently been renovated and modernised.
