The last pick-up point in Switzerland is St. Gallen, Bahnhof Nord, at 10.20 am.
(Optional) You can take an excursion to Carinthia, the sunny heart of Austria. Enjoy the views of the enchanting landscape on a two-hour boat trip on Lake Weissensee. In spring the meadows bloom in vivid green, while autumn, when the leaves turn colour, also offers beautiful views. After a short walk, return via the Iselsberg Pass.
The Kals Grossglockner Road winds through wild and romantic scenery into the Ködnitz Valley. The finest view of the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain, is from the Lucknerhaus. On a leisurely hike (approx. 1 hour), national park rangers will accompany you through the flowering Ködnitz Valley and share a great deal of interesting information about wildlife, plant life and glaciers.
At the foot of the Drei Zinnen lies Lake Misurina, one of the most beautiful Dolomite lakes. Continue to the Pragser Wildsee with its unique setting in the Pragser Dolomites. You will hike through dreamlike scenery around this emerald-green natural gem.
On a guided city tour with free time, you will discover sunny Lienz and its charming shopping streets. Continue to the Strumerhof, which lies high above Matrei.
