Day 1: Switzerland – Stuttgart
After your arrival at the elegant Hotel Steigenberger, you enjoy a relaxed lunch in the hotel's restaurant. Afterwards, a guided city tour takes you through the most beautiful parts of Stuttgart, from the Baroque Neues Schloss via the magnificent Königstrasse to the impressive Stiftskirche (duration 1.5 hours). After some free time, the day ends pleasantly with a shared dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Stuttgart & Opera
After breakfast at the hotel, an exclusive highlight tour of the Staatsgalerie awaits you, with masterpieces from Holbein to Picasso. The afternoon is at your leisure. In the early evening, you enjoy a light 2-course menu. Afterwards, you experience Verdi's «La Traviata», a moving opera about love, social constraints and tragic sacrifice. With its timeless melodies, it is one of the most famous and best-loved masterpieces of Italian opera.
Day 3: Stuttgart - Tübingen - Switzerland
After breakfast at the hotel, you travel to the picturesque town of Tübingen, where winding lanes, colourful half-timbered houses and the view of the Neckar with its punts create the charm of the old town. The time is yours to stroll, explore or simply enjoy. To close the journey, a shared meal awaits you at a typical inn serving regional cuisine.
You will stay at the elegant 5* Steigenberger Hotel Graf Zeppelin in the heart of Stuttgart. The State Opera House is just a few minutes' walk away.
