The famous Teatro Regio stages spectacular performances with world-class artists. A journey into the picturesque wine region of the Langhe, combined with a delicious meal of regional delicacies, adds the finishing touch to your stay.
Day 1: Switzerland – Turin
Journey to Turin. Arrival in the early afternoon and free time at your leisure. Shared dinner at a carefully selected restaurant.
Day 2: Turin & Opera
Look forward to Turin, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Savoy and the first Italian capital, with over 2,000 years of history. Turin was founded by the Romans and developed by the House of Savoy into a baroque residence city of particular splendour. A city with 18 km of arcades and cosy coffee houses, the capital of magic, chocolate and contemporary art. The tour ends around midday. Before the performance, opera aperitif with delicacies from the kitchen and cellar.
Day 3: Excursion to Piedmont
Today you explore the Langhe, world-famous for its wines, beginning in Alba, the city of the white truffle, followed by a visit to the picturesque village of Barolo, birthplace of the famous wine. The highlight is a typical Piedmontese lunch at a charming agriturismo, a culinary homage to the region.
Day 4: Turin – Switzerland
As you begin your return journey, reflect on the moments of your opera trip and its musical and culinary highlights.
You will stay at the 4* Hotel Turin Palace in the heart of Turin's city centre. All sights are within easy walking distance.
