Enjoy a cup of coffee and a Gipfeli in Twann, overlooking Lake Biel. Then continue on to Travers.

In Travers, a fascinating guided tour of the former asphalt mine begins. You will be equipped with a helmet and torch. Along the exciting route, you will learn how the miners lived and toiled underground.

In the mine restaurant, another highlight awaits you: the famous ham cooked in asphalt.

In the afternoon, you visit a wine cellar between Lake Biel and Lake Neuchâtel. Listen to the winegrowers from the Jungo & Fellmann families before the fine wines are tasted.
