Festive days full of indulgence, movement and wellness
Between the mild coastal climate, the Mediterranean charm and the magnificent scenery, we enjoy restful days that combine exercise and relaxation in a pleasant way. On our walks we explore the attractive surroundings with their coastal paths, charming villages and splendid views of the sea. After our experiences in nature, there is plenty of time to unwind in the wellness area. This makes the trip a well-balanced blend of activity, indulgence and recuperation.
Day 1: Switzerland - Diano Marina
Coach journey to Liguria.
Day 2: Hinterland of Diano Marina
We set off from the hotel and explore the enchanting hinterland of Diano Marina. Across gentle hills and through olive groves we reach attractive medieval villages that show the charm of Liguria. A highlight is Diano Castello with its four city gates. In the afternoon there is time for the picturesque town of Cervo. 30 km
Day 3: Santo Stefano al Mare - Sanremo
By coach we travel to Santo Stefano al Mare. From there we start along the cycle path on the coast to Arma di Taggia. We discover the famous Taggiasca olive at a visit to a local grower and explore a revived artists' village in the hinterland. We then return to the coast and continue on the cycle path to Sanremo, where we have time to visit the old town, the elegant promenade and the Casino square. 32 km
Day 4: Alassio
Our cycling tour begins in Andora. There we leave the sea and follow the route into the green hinterland. From Stellanello, the first climb awaits up to Testico, where magnificent views over the Ligurian landscape are in store. We then roll back downhill towards the coast and reach the elegant seaside resort of Alassio. Coach ride back to Diano Marina. 48 km
Day 5: Imperia and Cipressa
Our cycling tour starts in Imperia. Through the idyllic hinterland we ride to the charming village of Dolcedo. With electric assistance we climb to the highest point of the stage and enjoy breathtaking views. We follow part of the legendary route of the Milan-San Remo race and experience true Giro feeling on Ligurian roads. 42 km
Day 6: In the footsteps of Monet
Our final cycling tour begins in Bordighera. Along the River Nervia we ride to the picturesque village of Dolceacqua, which inspired Monet to paint his famous pictures. Here we taste the regional red wine Rossese from the Nervia Valley. We then continue to the medieval village of Apricale. On the return journey we once again enjoy the wonderful view of the Flower Riviera. 40 km
Day 7: Return to Switzerland
Journey home after breakfast.
