Day 1: Zurich - Las Palmas. Individual travel to Zurich Airport. Flight to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. Then transfer to the port. Embarkation aboard the Costa Smeralda.
Day 2: Funchal. Funchal impresses with its spectacular setting between green mountain slopes and the Atlantic. Madeira's charming capital invites you to explore its historic old town, colourful market halls and famous seafront promenade.
Day 3: At sea. Take time out and relax at the Solemio Beauty Spa, or enjoy an Aperol Spritz on Deck 18 with a wonderful view of the sea. Every evening in the theatre, spectacular shows await you: musicals, comedy shows, acrobats, games and much more.
Days 4-5: Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Santa Cruz de Tenerife welcomes you with a mild climate all year round, palm-lined promenades and Canarian flair. The lively island capital impresses with attractive squares and cosy cafés, and is also the ideal starting point for excursions to the impressive Teide National Park.
Day 6: Puerto del Rosario. Puerto del Rosario charms with its relaxed atmosphere, modern art in the townscape and proximity to the endless sandy beaches of Fuerteventura. The island capital invites you to stroll along the promenade and take excursions into the fascinating volcanic landscape of the island.
Day 7: Arrecife. Arrecife combines Canarian tranquillity with a volcanic backdrop and maritime charm. Lanzarote's capital entices with its attractive seafront promenade and narrow lanes, and is an ideal starting point for discovering the island's unique lava landscapes.
Day 8: Las Palmas - Zurich. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Zurich. Individual journey home.

Welcome aboard the Costa Smeralda! Built in 2019 and renovated in 2025, this cruise ship embodies Italian design with an international ambience. At 330 metres long, the ship offers 11 restaurants and snack bars, 19 bars and lounges, and 13 pools and whirlpools. A large theatre called "Colosseum" rounds off the entertainment on board.
Children up to 17.99 years travelling in a cabin with 2 adults sail free on the Costa Smeralda and only pay for the flight (from Fr. 570.- per child). The 3rd + 4th adult in the cabin benefits from a special rate from
Fr. 810.-.
Shore excursions
At the ports on your cruise, the Costa Smeralda offers organised shore excursions. These excursions are chargeable, and bookings must be made directly with Costa or, where possible, on board the Costa Smeralda.
