Piste Fun in the Kitzbühel Alps
The Wildschönau is one of the most beautiful high valleys in Tyrol: unspoilt, snow-covered and full of alpine charm. For a full week, you can look forward to splendid ski slopes, fresh mountain air and cosy evenings at the elegant 4* Hotel Silberberger.
Day 1: Switzerland - Wildschönau
Journey through the wintry Alpine landscape to the Tyrolean high valley. After arriving at the Hotel Silberberger, you will be welcomed with a small schnapps: a warm welcome to Tyrol.
Days 2 to 7: Skiing
Six free ski days in the Wildschönau area: the linked ski circuit connects the villages of Auffach, Niederau and Oberau with around 67 piste kilometres for all abilities, from gentle blue runs to sporty red descents. When you put your skis aside, you will find beautifully groomed winter walking trails around Oberau. One of the evenings is crowned by the atmospheric torch-lit walk through the snowy landscape, with mulled wine or hot chocolate and biscuits at the end. A festive themed evening with a Tyrolean buffet rounds off the week in fine culinary style.
Day 8: Wildschönau - Switzerland
After breakfast, you bid farewell to the Tyrolean high valley. The journey home to Switzerland follows.
The 4* Hotel Silberberger (official regional category) is picturesquely set in the Kitzbühel Alps and offers an indoor pool and a wellness area with sauna. The comfortable rooms are furnished in traditional Tyrolean style and have a balcony and satellite TV. The elegant restaurant serves regional cuisine and fine wines. Equivalent hotels in case of unavailability.
