Day 1: Switzerland - Genoa
Journey to Genoa. You will check into your cabin in Genoa and can explore the ship. At 17.00h it's "Cast off!" and the ship sets sail.
Day 2: Marseille
To get a full picture of the beauty of Marseille's Old Town, we recommend a stroll along Rue du Panier, just east of the Vieux Port. Green plants, antique shop signs and wonderful restaurants make the Old Town what it is. The "Vieux Port", meaning Marseille's Old Port, is just as beautiful. It is the heart of Marseille, and there are many cafés and bars along the harbour mole. Try delicious French specialities such as sweet crêpes, a filled baguette or fresh seafood. Close to the old port are the lively shopping streets of Marseille. Wander through the lanes and enjoy the French flair (arrival 09.00h / departure 18.00h).
Day 3: Barcelona
A highlight of Barcelona is the monumental Sagrada Família church, located in the l'Eixample district. Construction of the church has been under way for over 140 years. Another "must see" is Park Güell, the most famous city park. It is decorated with thousands of mosaic tiles. (arrival 09.00h / departure 19.00h)
Day 4: At sea
Take some time out and relax in the MSC Aurea Spa, or enjoy an Aperol Spritz on the outer deck with a wonderful view of the sea. Every evening, spectacular shows await you in the theatre: musicals, comedy, acrobats, games and much more.
Day 5: Genoa - Switzerland
In the morning you will arrive back in the Italian city of Genoa. Return journey to Switzerland.
Shore excursions
At the ports on your cruise, MSC Magnifica offers organised shore excursions. These excursions are chargeable, and booking must be made directly with MSC or, where possible, on board the MSC Magnifica.
