School fares on the rustexpress
The cheapest option for classes of between 10 and 40 people.
For smaller school classes, the cheapest option is to travel on the official rustexpress. You won’t have a coach of your own and the travel times follow the official timetable, but this is the cheapest way for smaller groups to travel – and as a school class you benefit from particularly low prices. Have fun and learn at the same time, or simply enjoy an adventure at Europa-Park: technology, crafts, biology, physics, energy, geography, history and architecture are right next to each other in the park and are easy to build into the curriculum.

Requirements for the pupil fares:
- Completed school confirmation with school stamp
- State-recognised full-time school
- Class accompanied by a teacher
- Basic education
- Official school trip
- Not on Sundays and public holidays, not during school holidays
- Payment in advance
Pupil fares are not granted for:
Evening school classes, altar servers, vocational schools, or part-time and professional development schools.

How to book, how to pay and what applies if a trip is cancelled: the four most common questions, answered briefly.
How do I book and pay?
You book online around the clock or by phone on 0848 000 232 and pay in advance with VISA, MasterCard, TWINT or PostFinance online banking. Your confirmation arrives straight away by email. Only groups can pay on invoice.
Can I book just the coach journey?
Yes. You can book just the return coach journey, or the coach journey together with Europa-Park admission. Booking only the outward or only the return journey is also possible: simply select “without coach” for the pick-up point of the outward journey or for the drop-off point of the return journey.
What happens if a trip is cancelled?
If fewer than 20 people are travelling, EUROBUS may cancel the trip up to 24 hours before departure due to insufficient occupancy. If you have to cancel yourself, the cancellation costs under the terms and conditions apply: free of charge up to 7 days before departure, 50% from 6 to 4 days before, and 100% of the travel price from 3 days before.
Is my travel money protected?
Yes. EUROBUS is a member of the guarantee fund of the Swiss travel industry. The money you pay for your booking is 100 per cent protected there.
From 40 people: a school trip in your own coach
For classes of 40 or more, travelling in your own coach is well worth it: the price per person is lower than on the official rustexpress, the class is picked up directly at the school or at a starting point of its choice, and the times are flexible.
