Choosing the right day for Europa-Park
-
Going at the weekend?
Then Sunday is the day we recommend. -
Clouds work in your favour
in poorer weather, Europa-Park is generally less busy than in sunshine. -
Always up to date
the official Europa-Park app (App Store and Google Play Store) provides up-to-date information.
Shortening your waiting times at Europa-Park
- Start against the flow
- after opening, most visitors rush to Silver Star. Start instead with blue fire or Wodan at the back of the park.
- Make use of lunchtime
- ride the big roller coasters over lunch, such as the blue fire Megacoaster, the Eurosat Can-Can Coaster, Silver Star or the Wodan Timburcoaster.
- Baby switch
- if a child is too small for a roller coaster, one parent rides first while the other waits; you then swap, without queuing again.
- Early entry for hotel guests
- guests of the themed hotels may enter the park half an hour earlier in the summer season and one hour earlier in the winter season with a valid admission ticket. You will find more under Coach + hotel + ticket.

Roller coasters and experiences at Europa-Park
Between the Poseidon water coaster and Euro-Mir stands Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac, with seven inversions, four launches, 2.2 seconds of continuous weightlessness and the steepest launch in the world at 105 degrees. For something special, you can try a virtual reality headset on a roller coaster, for example on the Alpenexpress.
Tip from EUROBUS Rustexpress: in the Voletarium, up to 140 people glide in chairlift-style flying machines on a journey over Europe – an experience for the whole family.
-
Cooling off on hot days
The Poseidon water coaster, a rafting tour through the landscape of Scandinavia or the Wasserweg (water path) provide refreshment in summer. Hardly anyone stays dry.
Tip from EUROBUS Rustexpress: on hot days, the Atlantica Super Splash shower in the Portugal themed area is well worth a visit. Stand on the platform and let the big wave of the water coaster cool you down.
-
Europa-Park with children
Grimm’s Fairytale Land, fairy and vintage car rides and themed playgrounds are made for the youngest guests.
Tip from EUROBUS Rustexpress: visit the Kingdom of the Minimoys with the children, where nature becomes a great adventure and you dive into the secret world of tiny creatures.
-
Food and drink at Europa-Park
From doughnuts, Berliners, crêpes and ice cream to Flammkuchen, hot dogs and Dutch chips: the park has both sweet and savoury treats. In the themed restaurants, you can eat Spanish, Italian or Greek food, or dishes from all over the world. If you bring your own food, you will find many picnic areas in Europa-Park.
Tip from EUROBUS Rustexpress: the self-service restaurant Spices serves dishes from all over the world, for example Indian cuisine in spring or African dishes in summer. And on the way back to the coach car park, it is worth stopping at the waffle bakery in the Germany themed area.
