Can’t find your question? Advice and booking: 0848 000 232, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00, or by email at rustexpress@eurobus.ch.
Before departure
Do I need ID?
Yes. Every traveller is responsible for carrying valid identity documents. Please bring a valid identity card or a valid passport.
When do I need to be at the pick-up point?
The timetable given is binding. EUROBUS recommends being at the pick-up point 10 minutes before departure. Out of consideration for the other passengers, the coach does not wait for latecomers; anyone who arrives late loses the right to transport. The departure times can be found under Coach + ticket.
Can I board at a different place?
EUROBUS Rustexpress serves the pick-up points listed under Pick-up points. No further pick-up points are approved for the advertised routes. However, EUROBUS will gladly quote you for a trip in a private coach from the pick-up point you would like: Groups in a private coach.
Where is the pick-up point in Bern?
Since the 2023 season, the Rustexpress in Bern has departed from the Schützenmatte coach car park.
On the coach
Can I reserve a seat?
No. On the Rustexpress, seating is unreserved and you choose your seat when boarding; seat reservations in advance are not available. Look on the spot to see which seats are free and where you can sit together.
How much luggage can I take?
On trips with an overnight stay, each person may take one suitcase and one rucksack; you can leave the luggage at the hotel. On day trips, leave in the coach whatever you do not need in the park and go into the park with light luggage. The coach remains locked on site. EUROBUS accepts no liability for luggage left in the coach.
May I bring my dog?
No, dogs are not carried on the coaches. If you travel there yourself and stay overnight in a Europa-Park hotel, dogs are generally allowed. After booking, contact EUROBUS so that the dog can be registered with the hotel. This costs 13 euros per dog per night (excluding food), payable on site at the hotel. Dogs are not allowed in the hotel restaurants and hotel bars, and dogs must be kept on a lead in Europa-Park. Dog hygiene packs are available at the main entrance for 1 euro. Dogs are not permitted on rides or at shows.

You will receive the admission tickets for Europa-Park by email as an eTicket two days before departure at about 13:00. If you cannot find an email in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If the tickets are not there either, contact rustexpress@eurobus.ch from Monday to Friday, or your driver directly at the weekend.
Which documents do I receive for a hotel stay?
Once your booking has been received, you will immediately receive a confirmation by email. You will receive the hotel voucher and information about pre-check-in at Europa-Park by email, and the admission tickets about two days before departure. Pre-check-in is possible only about 24 hours after you receive the voucher and requires the booking number on the hotel voucher. After that, you can also reserve a table in Europa-Park. For check-in on site, you need your ID and the hotel voucher.

Until when can I book?
Until 23:59 on the evening before. Once your booking is complete, you will immediately receive a confirmation by email.
Can I book only the outward or only the return journey?

Children and young people
Do small children travel free?
Yes. Children under 4 travel free of charge when accompanied by a carer and do not need an admission ticket for Europa-Park. A child seat that suits their age and size is required by law. For safety and hygiene reasons, please bring a suitable child seat together with fixing material (for example ratchet straps) yourself; EUROBUS does not provide child seats. The coaches have 2-point lap belts but no ISOFIX anchorages.
May young people travel alone?
Young people aged 16 and over may travel alone. On day trips without a hotel stay, young people may travel from the age of 14 with their parents’ consent. EUROBUS accepts no responsibility for their stay in Europa-Park. For hotel bookings, Europa-Park requires the parents’ written consent: fill in the form for young people under 18 (PDF) and bring it with you on the trip; for a hotel stay, also hand it in at the hotel reception when you check in.
