At the Bergdoktor Festival, all visitors have the chance to ask the stars around Hans Sigl questions and to experience the actors up close. The stage programme holds surprises every year and provides first-rate entertainment at the foot of the Hohe Salve in Hochsöll. Naturally, a visit to the Bergdoktor surgery is also an essential part of this trip!
Trip details
Day 1: Switzerland - Tyrol
Journey to Innsbruck. Lunch break at leisure. Onward journey to your hotel.
Day 2: Bergdoktor Festival
After breakfast, you head high up by mountain railway. When, in Hochsöll, it is for once not the witches but Hans Sigl and co. who are "causing mischief", it can only mean one thing: the Bergdoktor mountain festival is here again! On 9 September 2027, "Bergdoktor" Martin Gruber and his fellow cast members will take to the stage and answer the fans' questions, perhaps revealing a detail or two about the new series, and who knows, perhaps there will be similarly spectacular appearances as last year? The guests can certainly look forward to it with excitement.
Afterwards, you are invited to the Hexenwasser adventure stations to listen, watch and think barefoot. At selected stations, Hexenwasser staff and information boards provide comprehensive information. After an eventful day, a shared dinner awaits you at the hotel.
Please note: there are no firmly reserved seats at the event. It is standing room only. The event takes place outdoors in all weather conditions. Umbrellas may not be taken onto the event grounds; we recommend bringing rain capes.
Day 3: Bergdoktor practice
After breakfast, you set off for the beautiful, rustic Bergdoktor practice, which you can comfortably reach from the car park on a 10-minute walk. Here you have the unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the Bergdoktor and to capture your impressions in an unforgettable souvenir photo. Afterwards, you can look forward to a gondola ride with panoramic views up to airy heights on the Hartkaiserbahn in Ellmau. Up here, the Wilder Kaiser shows itself in all its splendour. Let your soul unwind and enjoy the unique view of the surrounding mountains.
Day 4: Tyrol - Switzerland
After breakfast, you begin your journey home in high spirits and full of new impressions! Return via Innsbruck and through the Arlberg Tunnel back to Switzerland.
You will stay in a mid-range hotel in the Kitzbühel Alps / Wildschönau. The rooms are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer and satellite TV. The hotel will be announced to you with your travel documents.
