Bregenz Festival - A Summer Night by the Lake
La Traviata on the Lake Stage
Following its great success in 2026, you can look forward to Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata" on the famous lake stage of the Bregenz Festival again in 2027. Damiano Michieletto's impressive production combines grand opera with the unique backdrop of Lake Constance. You will stay at the exclusive Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Lindau. Particularly convenient: the direct boat trip from the hotel to the lake stage and back again.
Trip details
Day 1: Switzerland – Bregenz – Lindau
Journey to Lindau on Lake Constance. Free afternoon. Before taking the boat to the floating stage, you will enjoy a fine festival menu at the hotel. During the crossing you can toast the beautiful evening with a glass of sparkling wine. After the performance, you return by boat to Lindau.
Day 2: Lindau – Lake Constance – Switzerland
After a leisurely “late risers' breakfast”, drive along the lake to Meersburg. You will love this charming little town on Lake Constance. You will have plenty of time to explore the town and the lakeside promenade or to enjoy a meal. Return journey to Switzerland.

Should the performance on the floating stage be cancelled, you are entitled to attend the concert performance in the Festspielhaus.
You will stay at the elegant 5* Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Lindau. The hotel is located right on the harbour and offers a magnificent view of the lake. It features a lovely spa area with a pool.
