Following the southern foot of the Jura along the «Transjurane» as far as Tavannes, you then continue a little further through the Franches-Montagnes to Saignelégier and the Maison de la Tête de Moine. Here you will learn how this typical regional speciality is made. See for yourself how a delicacy is created from natural ingredients. During the aperitif that follows, you may taste the cheese – delicious!
A 3-course lunch awaits you in Saignelégier.
Along minor roads and the River Doubs, you continue to St. Ursanne. On a most interesting guided town tour, you will delve deep into the Middle Ages. You will learn a great deal about the local monastery and its history, as well as what life was like here in those days. After the tour, stroll through this picturesque village at your leisure.
