New Year's Eve concert & La Traviata in the Palazzo
Incomparable, entertaining, romantic: Venice is a city full of magic. The beautiful Piazza San Marco is arguably the most elegant drawing room in Europe, surrounded by first-rate masterpieces. Experience the opera "La Traviata" in the setting of a Venetian palace, where each scene is played out in a different room. The great highlight is the concert as part of the New Year's Eve concerts in the magnificent Gran Teatro La Fenice.
Trip details
Day 1: Switzerland - Venice
Journey via Milan to Venice. A water taxi takes you to the hotel. In the evening, we dine together at the hotel.
Day 2: Venice & Concert at La Fenice
In the morning, you discover the fascinating old town on a guided tour, including the famous St Mark's Square and other impressive sights. The afternoon is at your leisure, ideal for an individual stroll through the city or a relaxing break in one of the charming cafés. In the late afternoon, you enjoy the festive New Year's concert at the Gran Teatro La Fenice, a highlight of the year in Italy's cultural scene.
Day 3: Venice & Opera in the Palace
In the morning, you take part in a guided tour of the Doge's Palace, once the seat of Venice's powerful heads of state. You discover opulent halls, important works of art and the famous Bridge of Sighs. The afternoon is at your leisure. In the evening, dinner awaits you at a selected restaurant, followed by Verdi's opera "La Traviata" in a Venetian palace.
Day 4: Venice - Switzerland
With many lovely memories in your luggage, the water taxi takes you to the coach park. From there, you begin your journey back to Switzerland.
You will stay at the 4* Hotel Saturnia, perfectly located in the heart of Venice. St Mark's Square and the opera house are just a few minutes' walk away.
