Trip details
Day 1: Switzerland - Savona
Journey to Savona. You will settle into your cabin and can explore the ship. At 16.00 the call goes out: "Cast off" and the ship sets sail.
Day 2: Naples
Naples fascinates with its UNESCO-protected old town and its impressive setting at the foot of Vesuvius. (Arrival 14.00 / Departure 21.00)
Day 3: Palermo
Palermo is the capital of Sicily, known for its fascinating blend of Arab, Norman and Baroque influences. (Arrival 09.00 / Departure 17.00)
Day 4: La Goulette
Today the Costa Pacifica drops anchor off the African continent. You should not miss the city of Tunis under any circumstances. (Arrival 08.00 / Departure 18.00)
Day 5: At sea
Travelling between sky and sea.
In the evening, enjoy a fine gala dinner and the grand New Year's Eve celebration on board the festively decorated dream ship. Indulge in culinary delights and dance and sway into the new year to music!
Day 6: Barcelona
Enjoy an exciting day in Barcelona. One of Barcelona's highlights is the monumental Sagrada Família church, located in the l'Eixample district. Construction of the church has been under way for 140 years. Another "must see" is Park Güell, the city's most famous park. It is decorated with thousands of mosaic tiles. (Arrival 08.00 / Departure 17.00)
Day 7: Marseille
To gain a comprehensive impression of the beauty of Marseille's old town, we recommend a detour to the Rue du Panier, which is located not far from the eastern side of the Vieux Port. Green plants, antique shop signs and wonderful restaurants make the old town what it is. Just as beautiful is the "Vieux Port", which translates as the Old Port of Marseille. It is the heart of Marseille, and there are many cafés and bars along the harbour quay (Arrival 08.00 / Departure 17.00).
Day 8: Savona - Switzerland
In the morning you will arrive back in Savona. Return journey to Switzerland.
On the Costa Pacifica, you will experience the magic of a holiday at sea. The ship is built in the Italian style. It combines beauty and glamour with varied entertainment, both by day and in the evening. Pampering wellness oases, excellent restaurants and a wide range of shopping opportunities will quickly make you forget everyday life. The Costa Pacifica is entirely dedicated to music. In the theatre you can enjoy the wonderful acoustics, while melodies composed by Mauro Pagani are played in the restaurants and lounges.
The five restaurants on board offer culinary delights. Eleven different bars invite you to enjoy an aperitif, while a fine wine can be savoured in the wine bar. The wellness area extends over 6,000 sq m and 2 decks and includes a fitness centre, thermal bath, thalassotherapy pool, sauna, Turkish steam bath and solarium. The five whirlpools and four swimming pools are located on different decks.
Children up to 17.99 years sharing a cabin with 2 adults travel free of charge on the Costa Pacifica and only pay for the coach journey (CHF 99.- per child). The 3rd + 4th adult in the cabin benefits from a special price of CHF 560.-.
Shore excursions
In the ports of your cruise, shore excursions organised by the Costa Pacifica are offered. These shore excursions are subject to a charge and must be booked directly through Costa or, where possible, on board the Costa Pacifica.
