Plan your day exactly as you wish. Explore Mainz with a leisurely stroll through the charming old town, with its winding lanes and lovingly restored half-timbered houses. Visit the imposing Mainz Cathedral, wander through the bustling market square or take a break in one of the cosy cafés. A walk along the Rhine promenade is also highly recommended. In the evening, the highlight of your trip awaits: the last ‘Rhein in Flammen’ event of the year, a festival of colours, music and emotion. Your journey begins aboard your festively decorated ship, sailing through the romantic Middle Rhine Valley towards St. Goar and St. Goarshausen. A glass of Sekt awaits to welcome you. At your lovingly laid table, a carafe of water is already waiting, before you look forward to a delicious 3-course dinner. Lively music provides the entertainment, and if you feel like it, you can dance on the deck. Finally, in front of the magnificent backdrop of the Loreley, you will witness a breathtaking firework display that bathes the banks, the legendary rock landscape and the historic walls of Rheinfels Castle in magical light. The fireworks above Katz and Rheinfels Castles form the spectacular finale to this unforgettable evening.
