Alongside its historic importance, the city is also influenced by the picturesque Moselle and its proximity to neighbouring countries, which gives it a very special diversity.

Day 1: Switzerland - Trier
Journey to Strasbourg. Make the most of your free time in the festively decorated old town for an individual lunch or a leisurely stroll through the picturesque lanes around the cathedral and the “La Petite France” quarter. Especially in winter, the Alsatian city with its lovingly decorated half-timbered houses and atmospheric squares has a very special charm. Afterwards, continue to Trier.
Day 2: New Year's Eve gala
Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel to gather energy for the day ahead. Afterwards, set off on an exciting walking tour of Trier, where you will discover the city's impressive sights and historic atmosphere. The afternoon is at your leisure.
In the evening, look forward to a glittering New Year's Eve in the festively decorated hotel. The evening begins with a sparkling wine reception, followed by a served starter and a varied buffet with soup, main courses and fine desserts. Live music and dancing provide the best entertainment until midnight, when an atmospheric fireworks display in the park welcomes the new year. Thanks to the included drinks package, nothing stands in the way of a carefree New Year's Eve.
Day 3: Trier - Switzerland
On New Year's Day, you can start the day in a relaxed manner with breakfast at the hotel. Around midday, you then begin your journey home.
The 4* Nells Park Hotel Trier (official national rating) is quietly located by the idyllic Nells Park, yet only a few minutes from Trier's historic centre. The stylish hotel combines modern design with historic charm and offers a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. The comfortable rooms have bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, Wi-Fi, safe and desk. The hotel also has a restaurant, a bar and a wellness area with sauna and steam bath. An equivalent hotel will be used if unavailable.
