The famous Teatro Regio stages spectacular performances featuring leading artists. An excursion to the picturesque Langhe wine region, combined with a delicious meal of regional delicacies, puts the finishing touch to your stay.
Trip details
Day 1: Switzerland – Turin
Drive to Turin. Arrival in the early afternoon, with free time at your leisure. Dinner together at a selected restaurant.
Day 2: Turin & Opera
Look forward to Turin, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Savoy and the first capital of Italy, with over 2,000 years of history. Turin was founded by the Romans and developed by the House of Savoy into a Baroque royal city of exceptional splendour. A city with 18 km of arcades and cosy coffee houses, the capital of magic, chocolate and contemporary art. The tour ends around midday. Before the performance, enjoy an opera aperitif with delicacies from the kitchen and cellar.
Day 3: Excursion to Piedmont
Today you will explore the Langhe, world-famous for its wines, starting in Alba, the city of the white truffle. You will then visit the picturesque village of Barolo, birthplace of the famous wine. The highlight is a typical Piedmontese lunch at a charming agriturismo, a culinary tribute to the region.
Day 4: Turin - Switzerland
As you begin your journey home, you can look back on the moments of your opera trip and its musical and culinary highlights.
You will stay at the 4* Hotel Turin Palace in the heart of Turin's city centre. All the sights are within comfortable walking distance.
