Day 1: Switzerland – Vienna
Travel comfortably to Vienna in the luxurious Car Rouge coach, accompanied by fascinating insights into opera from a music expert. In Europe's most liveable city, you will stay at the legendary Hotel Sacher opposite the State Opera and enjoy an exquisite dinner in the hotel's stylish setting.
Day 2: Vienna & Opera optional
In the morning, you will discover Vienna on a city tour taking in the finest sights such as St Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg and the State Opera. The afternoon is at your leisure. In the evening, you can experience Beethoven's only opera "Fidelio" at the Vienna State Opera, a moving masterpiece about freedom, courage and humanity. Day 3: Vienna & Opera optional
In the morning, a guided tour takes you through the magnificent rooms of the ALBERTINA with masterpieces by great artists. The afternoon is at your leisure. In the evening, Massenet's heartfelt opera "Werther" awaits you at the Vienna State Opera, with star tenor Juan Diego Flórez. Opera performance, 1st category: CHF 340.– incl. advance booking fees.
Day 4: Vienna - Switzerland
Sit back, let the impressions sink in and enjoy the excellent service on board – accompanied by your music expert, who rounds off the journey once more with background knowledge and music in a delightful atmosphere.
