BVB tickets: how you get into the stadium
The match ticket for the home game at Signal Iduna Park is included in every one of our trips: you book the trip, not the ticket, and coach travel from Switzerland is part of it. You get a numbered seat in the upper tier of the east stand.
Our tour guide hands out the tickets in person at the hotel after arrival, with no smartphone or app needed. Capacity and the Yellow Wall
With 81,365 places, Signal Iduna Park is the largest football stadium in Germany, around 55,000 of them held by season-ticket holders. The legendary south stand, the «Yellow Wall», holds around 25,000 standing places and is the largest standing terrace in Europe. The British newspaper «The Times» once called it the most beautiful stadium in the world.

Travelling from Switzerland
You travel by coach from Switzerland to Dortmund. Signal Iduna Park lies in the south of the city, within easy walking distance of the Hotel Mercure Centrum. Alternatively, the underground takes you straight to the «Stadion» stop, with frequent services on match days.

Where you sit: upper tier, east stand
On our trips you get a seat in the upper tier of the east stand, the same on every BVB trip currently on offer. From there you look straight across at the Yellow Wall. Tickets for the south stand are available on request.

Match days and kick-off times
The exact dates of the Bundesliga match days are set by the DFL only a few weeks in advance. Possible kick-off times are Fridays 20:30, Saturdays 15:30 and 18:30 and Sundays 15:30 and 17:30, plus some matches at 19:30.

For over 100 years Borussia Dortmund has captured countless hearts and won many major titles: the Champions League, the European Cup Winners' Cup and German championships. The fans' loyalty to the club is unique. It was in front of the Yellow Wall that Switzerland played their unforgettable match against Togo at the 2006 World Cup.

Chapuisat is not forgotten
Borussia Dortmund has a very special connection with Switzerland: through Ottmar Hitzfeld, who became a star coach here from 1991, and through the fan favourites Stéphane Chapuisat and Alex Frei, who scored many goals for the club. No wonder Swiss fans are very welcome guests in Dortmund. We have felt this hospitality ever since our first Dortmund trips in 1991.

In the 2026/27 season, trips to Borussia Dortmund start at CHF 650.– per person, including the match ticket, coach travel from Switzerland and a hotel stay. You will find the exact price with each trip.
Where will I be sitting on a Borussia Dortmund trip?
In a numbered seat in the upper tier of the east stand. This applies to every BVB trip currently on offer. Tickets for the south stand above the Yellow Wall are available on request.
How many people does the Yellow Wall hold?
The south stand of Signal Iduna Park holds 24,454 standing spectators, making it the largest standing terrace in Europe. The stadium as a whole holds 81,365.
How do I receive my BVB ticket?
In person from your tour guide after arriving at the hotel, with no separate ticket purchase and no advance dispatch. The ticket is a fixed part of the travel package.
