Football trip terms

Valid for football trips of EUROBUS AG, as at 1 July 2026

These contract terms apply to the legal relationship between you and us, EUROBUS AG (hereinafter collectively referred to as the tour organiser), for package tours or individual services offered by us in our own name. For services provided by third parties, such as package tours of other coach operators or tour operators, or individual services such as flight tickets, tickets, rental cars or hotel accommodation, you conclude the contract directly with these other companies, and we are not your contracting party.

Typographical and printing errors excepted. Windisch, 01.07.2026

1.

Conclusion of contract, travelling companions, payment

1.1 Your registration by telephone, in writing or in person is binding for you. The travel contract between you and us is concluded with the unconditional acceptance of your registration. If the person registering makes reservations for other participants, they are liable for those participants' contractual obligations (in particular the payment of the travel price) as for their own obligations. For travel arrangements of other tour organisers and for flight tickets that the tour organiser merely arranges for you, their own contract and travel terms apply.

1.2 Our services are set out in the description of services in the brochure or the trip listing. Special requests are only part of the contract if they have been confirmed in writing and without reservation by the booking office. Unless otherwise stated in the trip listing, services begin at the departure point for coach trips and at the airport in Switzerland for flights.

1.3 Payment: the payment terms are stated on the travel confirmation. If the deposit or final payment is not made on time, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract without compensation and to charge the cancellation costs according to section 2.1.

2.

Changes to bookings or cancellation of the trip by the traveller

2.1 If you cancel your trip up to 61 days before the start of travel, we charge a processing fee of CHF 100.– per person, up to CHF 1,000.– per booking, plus telephone and fax expenses. The processing fees are not covered by any cancellation insurance. If you withdraw from the trip later or request changes according to section 2.1, we must charge the following cancellation costs as a percentage of the invoice total in addition to the processing fee:

Up to 61 days before departure: no additional costs, deposits are not refunded.

60–46 days before departure: 10 % of the travel price

45–31 days before departure: 40 % of the travel price

30–16 days before departure: 50 % of the travel price

15–0 days before departure: 100 % of the travel price

2.2 The periods are calculated from the date your written notice reaches us or the booking office; if it arrives at a weekend or on a public holiday, the next working day applies.

2.3 Replacement travellers: if you have to cancel the trip, you may name a replacement traveller who takes the trip under the same conditions. If this replacement traveller enters into the contract, you and they are jointly and severally liable for payment of the entire travel price, the processing fee and any additional costs. A replacement traveller is permitted:

for trips within Switzerland until the start of travel

for trips in Europe and in countries without a visa requirement up to 48 hours before the agreed departure

It is also a condition that the companies involved in the trip (hotels, airlines and coach companies) accept this change, which may be difficult, especially in the high season, or may fail because of airfare rules.

3.

Entry formalities

Depending on the country, Swiss citizens need a valid identity card, a valid passport or a visa for the trips (different regulations are stated in the respective trip listing). Citizens of other countries should state their nationality when booking and enquire at the relevant embassies. Travel participants are themselves responsible for complying with these regulations and for obtaining and carrying the necessary travel documents (such as passport, identity card etc.). Please check your travel documents for completeness and accuracy before departure. If you are refused entry because of incorrect or missing documents, the costs of the return journey are at your expense (section 7).

4.

Programme and price changes

4.1 Changes before conclusion of the contract: we expressly reserve the right to change brochure information, descriptions of services and prices in brochures and price lists before you book. Should this be the case, your booking office will inform you of these changes before the contract is concluded.

4.2 Price changes after conclusion of the contract: in exceptional cases the agreed price may have to be increased. Price increases may result from:

a) a subsequent increase in transport costs (including fuel surcharges);

b) newly introduced or increased government charges or fees (such as airport taxes, landing fees, road tolls), changes in exchange rates, or

c) government-ordered price increases (e.g. value added tax).

If the costs of these travel services increase, they may be passed on to you. The travel price increases accordingly. We will make any price increase no later than 22 days before the start of travel. If the price increase exceeds 10 per cent, you have the rights set out in section 4.4.

4.3 Programme changes and changes in transport after your booking and before the start of travel: also in your interest, we reserve the right to change the travel programme or individual agreed services (such as accommodation, type of transport, means of transport, airlines, flight times etc.) if force majeure or an event that could not be foreseen or prevented despite all due care makes this necessary. We will endeavour to offer you equivalent replacement services. We will inform you as soon as possible of such changes and their effect on the price.

4.4 Your rights if the travel price is increased or the programme or transport is changed after conclusion of the contract: if the change to the programme or to individual agreed services results in a significant change to an essential point of the contract, or if the price increase exceeds 10 per cent, you have the following rights:

a) you may accept the change to the contract;

b) you may withdraw from the contract in writing within 5 days of receiving our notice, and the travel price already paid will be refunded to you immediately;

c) or you may inform us in writing within 5 days of receiving our notice that you wish to take part in an equivalent replacement trip proposed by us. If you do not send us a notice under letter b) or c), you agree to the price increase, the programme change or the change to individual agreed services (the 5-day period is met if you hand your notice to the Swiss Post on the 5th day).

5.

Cancellation of the trip

5.1 Group size: our trips require a minimum of 20 travellers. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip no later than 22 days before the start of travel. This period is 14 days for 2-, 3- and 4-day trips and 1 day for day trips.

5.2 Compelling reasons: should compelling reasons such as force majeure, natural disasters, unrest, terrorism, strikes, government measures, epidemics etc. seriously hinder or prevent the safe conduct of the trip, we will inform you of the cancellation as soon as possible.

5.3 In both cases we will endeavour to offer you a solution.

6.

Programme changes and failure of services during the trip

If programme changes have to be made during the trip, we will endeavour to offer an equivalent replacement service or alternative. Should the programme have an objective loss of value as a result of the change, we will compensate you for it.

If unforeseen but necessary programme changes lead to additional costs because, through no fault of ours, no equivalent replacement service or return transport is available and the measure is taken in the objective interest of the customer, these additional costs are borne by the customer. During the trip the customer may only withdraw if a substantial part of the agreed services is not provided and no reasonable alternative can be offered, or if the customer refuses the replacement service for important reasons.

7.

Termination of the trip by the traveller

If you break off the trip, the travel price cannot be refunded; any additional costs (e.g. return transport) are at your expense. - If you have to break off the trip for compelling reasons (illness, accident etc.), our tour guide will help you organise your return journey. Only if you break off the trip for compelling reasons will we refund those services that are not charged to us (less a reasonable processing fee).

8.

If you have a complaint

8.1 If the trip does not correspond to the contractual agreement or you suffer damage, you are obliged to report this defect or damage to our tour guide immediately.

8.2 The tour guide will endeavour to provide a remedy within a reasonable time during the trip. If no remedy is provided, if a remedy is not possible or if it is insufficient, have the tour guide confirm in writing the defects or damage complained of and the lack of remedy. However, the tour guide is not authorised to acknowledge any claims for damages or the like. - If you fail to make the complaint and to obtain the written confirmation, we cannot deal with your complaint after the end of the trip, and you lose all rights against us.

8.3 How to assert your claim against the tour organiser: if you wish to claim for defects, refunds or damages against us, you must submit your complaint to us in writing within 30 days of the actual end of the agreed trip. Your complaint must be accompanied by the tour guide's confirmation and any evidence. If you do not assert your claims within 30 days of the actual end of the agreed trip, all your claims are forfeited and you lose all your rights.

9.

Liability of the tour organiser

9.1 General: we compensate you for the objective value of agreed services that were not provided or were poorly provided, or for damage suffered, insofar as it was not possible for the tour guide to provide an equivalent replacement service on the spot or to remedy the damage, and we or the service provider are at fault (subject to the following sections).

9.2 Limitations and exclusions of liability

9.2.1 International agreements and national laws: if international agreements and national laws contain limitations or exclusions of compensation for damage resulting from non-performance or improper performance of the contract, we are liable only within the scope of these agreements and laws. International agreements and national laws with limitations or exclusions of liability exist in particular in transport

9.2.2 Exclusions of liability: we are not liable to you if the non-performance or improper performance of the contract or the damage is due to the following causes:

a) failures on your part before or during the trip;

b) unforeseeable or unavoidable failures of a third party not involved in providing the contractually agreed service;

c) force majeure or an event that we, the intermediary or the service provider could not foresee or prevent despite due care, e.g. natural disasters, unrest, strikes, terrorism, government measures, epidemics etc. In these cases any liability on our part for damages is excluded.

9.2.3 Personal injury, accidents etc.: for personal injury, death, bodily injury etc. resulting from non-performance or improper performance of the contract, we are liable only if the damage was caused by our fault or that of our service providers. Subject to the limitations and exclusions of liability in international agreements and national laws (section 9.2.1).

9.2.4 Other damage (property and financial damage etc.): for other damage arising from non-performance or improper performance of the contract, we are liable only if we or a service provider caused the damage through fault; this liability is limited to a maximum of twice the travel price, subject to lower limits or exclusions of liability in international agreements and national laws (section 9.2.1).

9.2.5 Valuables, cash, jewellery, credit cards etc.: we expressly point out that you are yourself responsible for the safe keeping of valuables, cash, jewellery, credit cards, photo and video equipment etc. You must never leave these items unattended in an unguarded coach or anywhere else. - We are not liable for theft, loss, damage or misuse.

9.2.6 Coach, train and flight timetables: even with careful trip organisation we cannot guarantee that these timetables will be kept. Delays can occur, particularly because of heavy traffic, congestion, accidents, overloaded airspace, diversions, delayed border checks etc. In all these cases we are not liable. We strongly advise you to allow for possible delays when planning your trip.

9.3 Events during the trip: outside the agreed travel programme, local events or excursions may be booked during the trip. It cannot be ruled out that such events and excursions involve risks. These events and excursions are not offered by us, and it is your own responsibility whether you wish to take part. We are liable neither for the correct performance of the contract nor for any damage.

9.4 Non-contractual liability: non-contractual liability is governed by the relevant statutory provisions. For other damage (i.e. not personal injury), liability is in any case limited to twice the travel price, unless international agreements or national laws provide for lower limits or exclusions of liability.

10.

Severability

10.1 The invalidity of individual provisions of the travel contract does not render the entire contract invalid.

11.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

11.1 The legal relationship between you and us is governed exclusively by Swiss law.

11.2 The place of jurisdiction is Windisch, the registered office of EUROBUS AG, unless mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
